Christina went on to explain why she decided on a scheduled C-section, saying, "I chose to do this because I had an emergency C-section with Brayden, and the entire experience and recovery were really tough on me, both physically and emotionally. To be honest, I’m not comfortable going down that road again."
A Tough Decision, But the Right One
Christina continued, giving us more insight into her choice. She mentioned that her son Brayden weighed in at a hefty 8 lbs 13 oz after hours and hours of pushing. "He was just stuck, and his heart rate was dropping," she revealed. Based on recent ultrasound measurements, Christina and Ant believe this baby will be another big boy, leading them to decide on a scheduled C-section. It’s clear she’s prepared for this little one in every way possible. "The nursery is ready, the kids are back in school, I’m not sleeping, I’m irritable and uncomfortable. Honestly, I’m ready to be done and to meet our little man," she shared, counting down the days until the big moment.
