Jenna Bush Hager, the beloved Today show co-host, left her co-workers and fans completely stunned when she announced she's expecting her third child. Back on April 22, 2019, Jenna, then 37 years old, made the delightful announcement that her family is expanding. Alongside her daughters, Margaret, who was six at the time, and Poppy, three, Jenna revealed her pregnancy during an episode of the NBC morning show. With a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon, Jenna explained, "I’m only telling because Mila and Poppy found out yesterday in their Easter baskets." She couldn’t help but laugh as she recounted how her daughters couldn’t keep the news to themselves. "They told the man behind me on the airplane, they told the people at church." At that point, Jenna mentioned she was about five and a half months along, which placed her due date sometime in late summer—perhaps around August?

Jenna has already let the cat out of the bag: her third child will be a boy. And guess what? Her dad, George W. Bush, is absolutely thrilled. "My dad keeps joking that we need to name him George," Jenna told People in a recent interview, but she admitted that the name is still up in the air. "We had two girls. That’s all [my dad has] ever known. It’ll be nice for him to have a little fishing buddy as well." Can you imagine the joy on her dad's face when he hears the pitter-patter of tiny feet running toward him for some quality fishing time?

Support from Friends: Hoda Kotb's Heartfelt Reaction
Jenna isn't the only one on the Today show who’s had some big baby news this year. Her close friend and fellow co-host, Hoda Kotb, also welcomed a new adopted daughter into her family. Of course, Hoda was over the moon for Jenna when she heard about her upcoming addition. "Jenna, first of all, you’re amazing," the 54-year-old gushed upon learning about her pal’s pregnancy. "When you told me that you were pregnant, I still remember because ... we were wondering about adoption issues, but listening to you, I was praying. You said, 'Oh, Hoda, I feel so bad.' I said, 'Please don’t!' I was literally kind of holding onto a little secret and look at us, now it’s all out in the open.”
