Alright folks, let's talk about what could be the biggest event in London since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding: Baby Archie's christening. This little guy’s big day is shaping up to be so exclusive that some members of Meghan’s family, including her half-brother Thomas Markle Jr., aren't sure if they'll even get an invite.
Thomas Markle Jr., who's 53 years old, opened up to Express about the situation, saying, "I can’t say whether I’m going to be invited. You know, I can’t say if Meghan is going to say, 'OK, enough is enough and, yes, I want my family back in my life.’ That would be wonderful, but I can’t answer that question. Of course we all want to be there because this is a major deal." It's clear that Thomas, like many in the family, hopes for a reconciliation, but only time will tell if that happens.

Where Does the Family Stand Now?
When Meghan, the former star of Suits, tied the knot with Harry in May 2018, she only extended an invite to her mom, Doria Ragland, from her side of the family. Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., and his younger children — Thomas Jr. and Samantha Markle, 54 — watched the royal wedding on TV just like the rest of us.

Thomas Jr., acknowledging the family rift, admitted, "I’m on a personal crusade to better the family image right now, and it’s going to be a slow, long process.” Interestingly, when Meghan’s baby boy, Archie, was born in early May, Thomas did an interview with The Sun, revealing his hopes that his nephew might help mend the family's strained relationship.

Thomas Jr.'s Hopes for Baby Archie
“Hopefully this baby will help mend the family rift. We’d all love to meet the baby and become a part of his life — especially my dad,” Thomas said at the time. “I’m hoping that becoming a mother will open up her eyes and shed light on what family means. Maybe she will see the importance of family now — and open up to my dad and let him be part of the baby’s life.”
It’s a heartwarming thought, but as with all things royal, we’ll have to wait and see if Thomas, Samantha, and their dad receive an invite to baby Archie’s royal christening. For now, let’s hope that the Markle clan can put all this drama behind them and come together for the little one's special day.
