“To be honest, having three sons in fewer than three years scared me a bit... but it’s truly magical,” Hilaria confessed in an April 23 Instagram post. “Sure, they might bicker and fight over toys, but at the end of the day, they’re the best of friends and my little boyfriends.” Despite her initial fears, Hilaria has embraced the chaos and joy of motherhood. In an interview with Parents, she shared, “Growing up, I didn’t think I’d become a mom, and having a large family wasn’t something I focused on. But then I met Alec when I was just 27, and by the time I was 28, I was pregnant.”
Hilaria continued, “At first, I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll just start with one,’ and I was a little worried. I didn’t know if I’d even enjoy it. But everything changed the moment Carmen was born. I remember lying there with my feet still in the stirrups, Carmen on my chest, and I turned to Alec and said, ‘Oh my God, I want to do this again!’”
And so, the Baldwin family grew into the loving, vibrant unit it is today. Their journey is a testament to the unpredictable and beautiful path of parenthood, filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
