In a candid chat with Closer Weekly, the 33-year-old actor opened up about the best advice his iconic father, Clint Eastwood, has ever given him. “You know, my dad always tells me to listen more. Like, really listen. Keep my mouth shut and let others do the talking,” Scott shared with a laugh during the GEANCO Foundation Hollywood Gala. “And honestly, I think I’m pretty good at it. It’s something I work on every day.”

Back in December 2018, Scott and his siblings came together for a rare family outing at the premiere of Clint’s film, The Mule. It was a special moment, one that many believed Clint orchestrated because he sensed his acting career might be winding down.
“Clint knows this could very well be his last film, and he wanted all of his kids to be there,” an insider revealed to Closer Weekly at the time. “He wanted us to witness it, to share in the experience as a family.”
But when Clint spoke with NHK, he wasn’t quite ready to call it quits. “I mean, I don’t know what’s next for me. There might be something, but honestly, I have no idea what it is. And that’s part of the fun,” Clint said. “For The Mule, I read the story, thought it was interesting, and decided to give it a shot. You never know what opportunities will come your way.”
