Paul Burrell, the royal butler who knew Princess Diana intimately, recently opened up about the striking similarities between the late royal and Duchess Meghan. “When I watched Meghan, I was instantly reminded of Princess Diana’s candidness and honesty,” Paul revealed. He went on to say that during Meghan’s most revealing interview about adapting to life under the public spotlight, she displayed the same raw emotions that Diana once did. “I saw someone who was deeply vulnerable, much like Diana felt when she opened up about her struggles within the royal family.”

Paul drew a direct comparison between Meghan’s interview with ITV News at Ten anchor Tom Bradby for the documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey and Diana’s own public declarations.
