Osmond Brothers Reunite For Marie Osmond's 60th Birthday Bash

Donny Osmond Crashes Marie's 60th Birthday Celebration On 'The Talk'

When the four legendary Osmond Brothers took the stage on The Talk to celebrate their sister Marie Osmond’s 60th birthday last Sunday, October 13, it was more than just a family reunion. It was a heartfelt tribute to the bond they’ve shared for decades. The band gathered one last time to honor their beloved little sister, and Marie was overwhelmed with gratitude.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram the following Sunday, October 20, Marie expressed her thanks. “I haven’t had the chance to publicly thank everyone who worked so hard to bring everyone together and make my birthday dreams come true,” she wrote. “The four original Osmond Brothers sang together one final time, and I wanted to share this special moment with all of you. You’ve been with us through the years, and I couldn’t have asked for a better audience. I love you all!”

I stumbled upon this photo a few days ago while going through some old family albums. Sometimes, life has a way of delivering the perfect message at the perfect time. In this picture, my oldest brother Tom is brushing my youngest brother Jimmy’s teeth, and I’m watching intently. That simple moment captures so much about our family dynamic—watching, teaching, and learning. Growing up, it was always the older siblings looking out for the younger ones. Jimmy might not have asked for help, but Tom was there anyway, even if he wasn’t thrilled about it. And me? Well, I was probably just enjoying the show. But the truth is, the oldest always helped the youngest, and that’s what made us who we are today.

  • I haven’t had the time to thank everyone publicly until now for all the effort in making my birthday dreams come true. The four original Osmond Brothers sang together one last time, and I wanted to share that gift with all of you who’ve followed them through the years. The song they performed on The Talk is called "The Last Chapter," written by Alan, and it’s so meaningful. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: without the original Osmond Brothers, there wouldn’t have been Donny, Marie, or even Jimmy. And we can’t forget Virl and Tom, our two oldest brothers, who were born hearing-impaired. Their singing journey began to help buy hearing aids for Virl and Tom. I love my brothers so much. They taught me, critiqued me, and helped me grow. This entire experience filled me with so much gratitude—for my family, my new “sisters” Sharon, Sheryl, Carrie Ann, and Eve at The Talk, and the CBS team. And to all of you who’ve been with us from the start, we love you! Check out my Facebook page or MarieOsmond.com/sundaymessage for the full #SundayMessage.

A Family Legacy That Runs Deep

Marie’s post wasn’t just about celebrating her birthday; it was a reflection on the incredible journey her family has taken together. She shared a throwback photo of her oldest brother Tom brushing her youngest brother Jimmy’s teeth, capturing the essence of their family dynamic. It’s a reminder that no matter how far she’s come, her siblings have always been her foundation.

“Without the original Osmond Brothers, there wouldn’t have been Donny, Marie, or even Jimmy,” she wrote. “But we need to go back even further. Without Virl and Tom, the two oldest Osmond brothers who were born hearing-impaired, there wouldn’t have been the four original Osmond Brothers.”

"They started singing to help buy Virl and Tom hearing aids," she explained. "My brothers mean the world to me. They taught me, critiqued me, and helped me grow, even when I didn’t want them to," she joked. "We’ve all learned, helped, and loved each other through every step of this journey."
