Meet Kelly Clarkson, the global superstar who swaps her megawatt spotlight for a mom hat at home. While millions recognize her as a chart-topping sensation and TV personality, her kids see her as just another mom juggling everyday life. In a candid interview with People, Kelly opened up about how her youngest son, Remington, is blissfully unaware of his mom's fame. "They see me as just 'Mom,' and that's how it should be," the 37-year-old shared. "Remington doesn't have a clue. Our lives are pretty normal—we don't live in the Hollywood scene."
Little Remington: The Unaware Fan
Kelly's youngest, Remington, isn't the least bit phased by his mom's celebrity status. According to Kelly, he lives a grounded life far removed from the glitz and glamour of the music industry. "He's completely oblivious," she laughed. "It's actually kind of refreshing. We keep things simple, and he's just a regular kid." While Remington might not realize his mom's global impact, Kelly's eldest daughter, River Rose, is a different story. At just four years old, River Rose is already showing signs of being a performer herself, much to Kelly's amusement.
River Rose: The Budding Star
River Rose, Kelly's spirited daughter, has a flair for the dramatic. "Our little girl loves to dance and do gymnastics," Kelly revealed. "She's all about performing, and she wants to sing like me. Honestly, I'm trying to steer her away from the music world. It's tough out there!" Despite her playful warnings, Kelly can't help but be proud of River's passion. "She's got that spark, and I hope she finds her own path, whether it's in the arts or something else entirely."

Despite River Rose's interest in following her mom's footsteps, Kelly has made it clear she doesn't want her kids to pursue careers in entertainment. "I hope they become teachers, doctors, or something stable," she confessed during a press conference after The Voice Season 15 finale. "This industry is brutal. I even joked that I hope they're tone-deaf!" While Kelly might be teasing, her concern for her children's well-being is genuine.
Family Ties: Brandon Blackstock and Reba McEntire
Kelly shares her life with husband Brandon Blackstock, 42, and their two children, Remington and River Rose. Brandon also brought two children from a previous relationship, Savannah and Seth, making their family even more blended. "It's a little chaotic, but I wouldn't have it any other way," Kelly said with a smile. And if that wasn't enough star power in the family, Kelly's mother-in-law is none other than country legend Reba McEntire. "Meeting Reba has been one of the greatest blessings of my life," Kelly shared. "She's not only an incredible artist but also an amazing friend and grandma. My kids adore her."

Kelly's admiration for Reba runs deep. "Reba has been such a support system for me," she expressed during the 41st annual Kennedy Center Honors. "She's listened to me vent, consoled me through tough times, and been the coolest grandma my kids could ask for. I'm so grateful for her."
