There’s no denying it—Jennifer Lopez has one of the most enviable wardrobes in Hollywood. Her fashion game is on point, and it’s not just fans who are obsessed. Even her own daughters, Emme and Alex Rodriguez’s Elle, are major fans of their mom’s style. These two 11-year-olds have already staked their claims on some of J.Lo’s most unforgettable outfits.
In a candid moment with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer shared how her daughters regularly express their admiration for her wardrobe. “Ella told me, ‘I want your white Grammy dress with the orchid,’ and Emme chimes in, ‘What about that one, Mommy? Are we going to keep it? Don’t throw that out!’” she joked. “They’re constantly telling me which pieces they love, and it’s such a sweet reminder of how much fashion means to all of us.”

J.Lo's Signature Look: The Green Versace Dress That Made History
When you talk about Jennifer Lopez’s style, one piece always comes to mind—the iconic green Versace gown she wore to the 42nd Grammy Awards in February 2000. Even at 49 years old, J.Lo admits that this dress holds a special place in her heart. “If I had to pick one outfit that defines my career, it would be the Green Versace dress,” she confessed. “It’s the one that truly went down in history for me. Sure, there have been countless other amazing moments with different designers, both in fashion and music videos, but that dress remains my No. 1.”

Revisiting an Iconic Moment
Jennifer didn’t stop there; she brought back the essence of that legendary look in her music video for “I Luh Ya Papi,” featuring French Montana. “Being exposed to so many incredible couture designers over the years has really shaped my sense of style,” she explained. “It’s evolved a lot, but at the same time, it’s stayed true to who I am. That’s why recreating the Grammy look felt so natural.”

Was It Planned? Not Exactly
Believe it or not, the recreation of her Grammy look wasn’t part of the plan for the “I Luh Ya Papi” video. “We didn’t sit there and say, ‘Let’s recreate the outfit!’” Jennifer revealed in an interview with Us Weekly. “It just happened organically. The stylist brought the jungle print piece on the rack, and when I saw it, I was like, ‘What’s this doing here?’ Turns out, it was a current Versace design in stores, and it just clicked.”
So, here’s the question: how can we get our hands on some of Jennifer Lopez’s iconic outfits? Well, maybe we’ll have to settle for admiring them from afar—or perhaps one day, her daughters will share!
