We recently went to a concert to enjoy some live music—it was such a blast! It felt great to finally get out of the house after being cooped up for months.”

Life with three kids can get hectic, especially since the arrival of Santino Lopez. But Mario and Courtney know how important it is to carve out time for themselves. “Of course we still make time for date night,” Mario emphasized. “It’s crucial for keeping the connection strong. Whether it’s a cozy dinner and a movie or quick getaways to places like Santa Barbara, even Vegas trips for a night or two, it’s all about staying connected without being away too long.”
Mario shared his go-to date ideas, which include everything from simple evenings in to weekend adventures. “We love exploring nearby spots for wine tasting or enjoying a quiet meal together,” he said. “The key is making sure we prioritize this time—it’s what keeps us grounded and reminds us why we fell in love in the first place.”
Finding Balance in Parenthood
Since welcoming Santino, Mario has been adjusting to life as a dad of three. He admitted to Closer that he loves the chaos and cherishes every moment with his growing family. “I feel amazing—you know, all the craziness is part of the fun,” he said. “Gia and Dominic are completely smitten with their little brother, and I make sure to spend quality time with them too. We went to a soccer game this weekend, and I took Gia to the Dora [and the Lost City of Gold] premiere—it’s all about balancing everything and making sure no one feels left out.”
