A close friend explains, “Joanna’s biggest fear would be if their kids turned into brats. They refuse to spoil them.” At home, the kids are assigned chores and have strict limits on screen time. Chip openly admits, “Early on in our marriage, we had some conflict.” However, they grew stronger by shifting their focus from blaming each other to supporting one another. “Jo and I care about each other’s hearts, we care about each other’s souls,” he says. “We decided, ‘No matter what comes our way, it’s you and me against the world.’ The secret to our success is simply pulling for one another.”
