Angela and her husband, Peter, took immediate action, moving their family from Malibu to rural Ireland to provide a healthier environment for their kids.
“It all started with cannabis, but it quickly escalated to heroin,” Angela recalled with concern. “I knew we had to make a change. I told Peter, ‘We have to leave.’ So, we packed up and moved to a house I found in County Cork. For an entire year, I refused all work and focused solely on my family.” This decision not only helped her children overcome their struggles but also strengthened the family bond.
