Alright, folks, let’s dive into something that’s been tugging at our heartstrings. When Andy Cohen welcomed his son Benjamin Allen Cohen this past February through a surrogate, everything changed for him. And I mean, everything. It wasn’t just about hosting Watch What Happens Live anymore. Now, it’s about raising this little bundle of joy, and honestly, it’s been delightful to watch.
That Adorable Baby Pic
On July 22, Andy, who just turned 51, posted a picture of baby Ben wrapped in an adorable Snoopy towel. The little guy was looking up at his dad with those big, innocent eyes that could melt even the toughest of hearts. Andy didn’t need to say much; he simply captioned the photo with three heart emojis. Classic Andy, right? But let me tell you, that picture was pure gold.

Opening Up About Surrogacy
Just a week before that heart-melting photo, Andy was candid with Wendy Williams about his decision to become a dad through surrogacy. Now, here’s the thing: Andy was approaching 50, and he started reflecting on his life. Was this all there was for him—just hosting a show and being the quintessential Andy in the city? Or was there something more? Something deeper?
As he revealed to Wendy, family has always been incredibly important to him. He realized that having a baby was in his future, and this was his last chance to make it happen. “I was ready,” Andy said, adding that he’s been “Andy in the city” for a long time. But now, with Ben, he’s ready to be “Andy on the couch, with the kid.” Doesn’t that just warm your heart?

The Future: Baby Number Two?
Even though Andy has his hands full with baby Ben, he’s already thinking about possibly expanding his family. “I might consider having another one—I’m thinking about it,” Andy told Extra. Now, that’s something to look forward to, isn’t it? He also shared some of Ben’s milestones. The little guy is growing rapidly, drinking his milk, and being a really chill baby. Andy mentioned that Ben is trying to crawl, grasping things, making eye contact, focusing on books, and even holding his bottle almost independently.
As we continue to watch little Ben grow up, it seems like we’ll have to stay tuned for another exciting announcement. Who knows? Maybe Andy’s next chapter involves another little Cohen joining the family. For now, let’s just enjoy watching this new chapter unfold, one adorable moment at a time.
