Who doesn’t love unwinding with a glass of wine after a long, hectic day? Well, Sarah Jessica Parker is definitely raising her hand high for that! In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the beloved star of "Sex and the City" shared how she loves to decompress after spending quality time with her family, including her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children—James, 16, and their 10-year-old twins, Tabitha and Marion—by enjoying a glass of her favorite red or white.
“Let me tell you something, I absolutely adore a glass of wine at night,” Sarah gushed in her signature candid style. “I never thought I’d be the type to say that. It took me a long time to fully appreciate the benefits. Honestly, I’m not sure why it took me so long. I think it was probably around the time our kids hit a certain age. I remember thinking to myself, ‘What are you doing? Why aren’t you already inside the fridge, searching for that perfect glass of wine?’”

Parenting: A Journey Full of Challenges and Joys
Of course, Sarah acknowledges that not everyone shares her love for wine as a way to unwind. After all, every parent has their own unique way of dealing with the chaos of raising a family. “I want to be very mindful about parenting,” she explained. “It’s an incredible journey filled with wonder, chaos, challenges, and surprises. And yes, it’s often exhausting. But let’s be clear—this is not the only way to find peace at the end of the day.”

A Glimpse into the Parker-Broderick Household
Despite her celebrity status, Sarah insists that her home life isn’t all that different from yours or mine. Just like any other mom, she’s juggling school schedules, extracurricular activities, and those endless conversations about the future. “It’s all about school, internships, soccer practice, and even university discussions,” Sarah shared. “We’re always figuring out how to manage our time and where everyone left their missing items.”
But as James approaches his final years of high school, Sarah finds herself reflecting on the bittersweet reality of saying goodbye. “I can’t even begin to imagine what it will feel like to send my child off to college,” she admitted. “It’s such a profound moment, filled with hope and uncertainty. All I can do is trust that I’ve equipped him with everything he needs—both mentally and emotionally.”
