Well, at least one very special guest—her youngest daughter, 5-year-old River Rose. During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the beloved American Idol star revealed how River sweetly asked to join her on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
River Rose's Heartwarming Request
Kelly, 37, shared the story during her visit to Seth Meyers' late-night show on Monday, September 9. She explained how River, who just started kindergarten, was chatting with classmates about their parents. "She was like, 'Oh, my parents? My mom is Kelly Clarkson, my dad's Brandon,'" Kelly recounted. "And I'm like, 'I don't know if you should say that. You're gonna hate it in junior high, probably.'"
When Seth confirmed the buzz about River's possible guest spot, Kelly joked that she already had some creative ideas for incorporating her daughter into the show. "I think I'm actually going to see if she'll interview with me," Kelly revealed. The thought of her little girl sitting across from her on the couch, asking questions, brought a smile to her face.

Kelly also teased the idea of bringing River along for her ultimate dream interview with none other than Meryl Streep.
