Speaking candidly on the set of Hallmark’s Home & Family, the 36-year-old athlete shared his evolving perspective on fatherhood. “I’ve really been reflecting on this lately—what does being a father actually look like?” Laich told Us Weekly while promoting his insightful podcast, “How Men Think,” alongside musician Gavin DeGraw. “When you’re in a serious relationship, you naturally start thinking about what being a husband means, but now, with the idea of kids on the horizon, I’m thinking about fatherhood too. It’s this incredible responsibility, you know? You’re bringing a new life into the world, and that life is counting on you to help shape their mind, their values, their everything. It forces you to look inward and ask, ‘Am I the kind of person I want to be for this child? Have I done the work to be a good role model?’”
