SPOILER ALERT! In the November 13 episode of The Masked Singer, as the show wrapped up on Wednesday night, the mysterious Ladybug was unmasked and revealed to be none other than Kelly Osbourne. Following her elimination from season 2 of the beloved singing competition, the British star hilariously opened up to Entertainment Weekly about why she couldn’t tell her legendary dad, Ozzy Osbourne, about her secret gig.

“We decided not to tell my dad at first because, let’s face it, my dad is the proudest father you’ll ever meet. He’d be walking around telling everyone, 'Did you see my daughter? Have you seen what my daughter did?'” Kelly, the 35-year-old beauty, playfully shared. “We couldn’t take the risk because he’s a walking gossip machine. He just loves to brag, and we couldn’t afford any slip-ups.”

Kelly went on to explain that it was a no-brainer to keep the secret from her big-mouthed father when it came to signing those strict NDA forms. “So, we were all like, 'We absolutely cannot tell dad,’” she continued, revealing that only mom Sharon Osbourne and brother Jack Osbourne were in on the secret. “And that was it. Just the three of us knew.”

Looking Back on Her Time on 'The Masked Singer'

For Kelly, who first rose to fame in the late '90s thanks to her parents’ hit MTV reality show The Osbournes, her time on The Masked Singer was nothing short of an incredible experience, even though she was sent home in the sixth week.

“I actually wanted to audition for the first season, but it was my first year of sobriety, and I wasn’t ready to jump back into the spotlight full force again,” Kelly confessed. Reflecting on her experience, the purple-haired beauty said that participating in The Masked Singer marked “the first big thing” she’s accomplished since committing to living a sober life. She described the opportunity as “100 percent” a pivotal moment in her career.

Exciting New Ventures for Kelly Osbourne

With her newfound confidence, Kelly is now diving into several exciting projects. “I just shot a pilot for Fox, and fingers crossed that it goes ahead. I’ve also developed and written a scripted series that I’m currently trying to sell, which is like a modern-day Bridget Jones with a social-media-influencer twist,” Kelly told the outlet. “It’s super funny, and I’m just taking it slow. It’s all about trial and error for me, figuring out exactly what I want to do.”
