Let me tell you something about Drew Scott, one of the Property Brothers. Now that he's married to the love of his life, Linda Phan, he's got family on the brain. In a recent chat with Closer Weekly, Drew opened up about his thoughts on starting a family. While he's not in any rush to have kids, if they do come, he's definitely thinking big! He's all about the idea of having a large family, just like the ones we see in those heartwarming holiday movies.
Big Family Dreams
“We’re not in a screaming rush,” Drew joked, “Maybe 13.” Now, I know that sounds like a lot, but he’s not serious about having thirteen kids, right? He’s just teasing. Drew and Linda already have plenty of nieces and nephews because two of her sisters have both boys and girls. So, they’ve got lots of practice when it comes to parenting. “One day soon, hopefully,” Drew added with a smile.
Jonathan Scott's Perspective
Drew’s twin brother, Jonathan Scott, isn’t exactly racing to start a family either. He's more about living in the moment and not rushing into things. Jonathan, who’s currently dating Zooey Deschanel, has a pretty laid-back attitude about becoming a dad. “I think I’ll be a great dad,” he said confidently. “My hope is that I would find somebody to coparent with, but if I didn’t, that wouldn’t hold me back.” Jonathan is all about taking things one day at a time, and he's not letting the clock dictate his life choices.

Family Plans Aren't New
This isn’t the first time the Property Brothers have talked about expanding their families. Drew previously told Closer Weekly that he and Linda have been giving it a lot of thought. “We’re thinking three or four kids,” Drew revealed, “so I want to just have triplets! Get it out of the way.” He even joked with Linda about having two sets of twins, but he wasn’t entirely convinced that was the best idea. “You say that now, but let’s wait until that first set to see how you feel!” he playfully teased.
It's clear that Drew and Linda are excited about the possibility of becoming parents. After all, Drew famously predicted his entire future with Linda the first time he saw her. “I saw her across the room at an event in 2010 and knew she was the one,” he explained. “She’s now a creative director with our company. I look forward to having kids, and she’s going to be an amazing mom. Family’s all I need.”
