And guess what? We’ve stuck to that rule for 21 years!”

David admitted that they did exceed their self-imposed limit once—by just 11 hours. “It was actually Tim Burton’s fault,” he joked, explaining how Jessica’s filming schedule changed while she was working on one of Burton’s projects. “We cried over it, but it’s never happened again.
